An older, weedier White River and Northern I often found it therapeutic to sit and plant weeds and shrubs individually, rather than laying down a coat of glue and shaking everything on at once. After a stressful day, I could relax completely just by sitting and planting bits of greenery one by one with a tweezers for a couple of hours. And so, much like a real railroad, the WR&N got weedier as the years rolled by. By the way, the tower in the foreground was rescued and reused for the WR&N Version IV.
