That's the date scrawled on the board I am holding up in front of me. By this time more than half of the benchwork was completed. The WR&N II's benchwork was traditional L-girder, still considered "best practice" at the time, and I took great pride in its careful, precise construction. All of the joints were glued and screwed, except for the legs which were attached with lag bolts. I designed all of the benchwork so it could be dismantled. Boy, was I dreaming...
