Ready to leave town

Headed by an ex-B&O Docksider, a short freight (as if there was ever a long freight on the WR&N!) is ready to leave the yard. Early tendencies to add details are evident in the bell cord and weathering on the locomotive—which exists today as a rusting derelict.

Image specs: Daylight slide film and a 100-watt desk lamp do not make a good combination. With precious little in focus, this image was in desperate need of some heavy-duty cropping. It is, however, somewhat remarkable what can be pulled out of a blurry jumble such as this.
