4x8 HO Starter #2
If you're just getting started in model railroading—or looking for something to get your
kids hooked—here's a classic figure-eight plan for a four-by-eight-foot table. The gray line
that cuts through the middle and curves down is a double-sided backdrop that separates the
town and industrial area from the hilly terrain around the mine. The industrial area also
hides part of the loop, and has removable areas to provide access to the hidden track. The
numbers next to the track indicate elevation in inches. This plan is easily adapted to N scale, and would make a great HCD (hollow core door) layout. Gridlines are spaced 12 inches. Feel free to use, modify or reproduce this plan. If you republish it on the Web, please link back to its
source. Thanks!
